The Florida Landlord Tenant Law, also called Florida Statutes Chapter 83, governs the practices of landlords and tenants when leasing residential and non-residential property. Part 1, which includes 83.001-83.251, covers non-residential tenancies. Part 2, which includes 83.40-83.682, covers residential leases.
