Cady Way Trail & Cady Way Park
Since it’s inception in 1994, the Cady Way Trail has been providing an excellent way for cyclists and pedestrians to link neighborhoods, recreational areas, and business districts. The 6.5-mile long trail follows a former railway corridor and includes mirrors at blind corners and bridges over busy road crossings. There are rest stops, trash receptacles, and water fountains located at strategic locations throughout the trail. The Cady Way Trail runs from Aloma Avenue and Howell Branch Road/Hall Road west and south to Colonial Town Center, also known as Fashion Square Mall in Orlando.
Cady Way Park is a wonderfully active area with softball fields, open tennis courts, a playground and access to the Cady Way Trail. Cady Way Playground was built in partnership with the well known KaBOOM!, a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build great places to play within walking distance to all children in America. Cady Way Playground was built entirely by volunteers and the playground itself was designed by children. The playground is inviting to children for all ages and features slides, climbing apparatus, and swings. A great place to spend the day when visiting Winter Park and exploring all that the diverse Winter Park neighborhoods offer.
